Shot by live ammunition (گلوله جنگی) while working in Tehran Bazaar. His body was released to family only after payment of 1.6 billion Tomans (~$24,000 USD). Funeral was held under tight security measures with only immediate family allowed. He had previously been wounded by pellet rounds during the 2022 protests.
