Shot with pellet/shotgun rounds during protest on Thursday, 18 Dey (January 8) in Narmak, Tehran. Witnesses claim the pellets were coated with a substance causing severe infection. He sought hospital treatment in mid-Bahman due to worsening infection from his wounds, and died on 2 Esfand from the resulting complications.
