Shot directly in the heart with a Kalashnikov bullet fired from the rooftop of a Basij base, in front of the base, in the city of Zayandeh Rood, Lenjan, Isfahan; died instantly. He was married with a 12-year-old son named Sepehr, worked as an auto mechanic, and was buried a week later in the city cemetery amid a large but silent public gathering.
