Married with a four-year-old daughter, worked selling and distributing food items in Tehran's bazaar. Was injured on the night of 18 Dey but sustained only superficial wounds; the next day he left home to feed stray dogs he cared for daily and was shot during unrest in Phase 1 of Pardis, Tehran. His half-lifeless body was returned home by two unknown individuals and he later died after being transferred to hospital. His family searched for his body for several days between Kahrizak, Behesht-e Zahra, and Damavand before being contacted for the body's delivery and burial.
