Shot directly by a sniper from government forces in the Andarzgoo area of Tehran during the Iranian national revolution against the Islamic Republic. His Instagram page, which was public, previously showed a video of his ordinary life, including a large picture of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi in what appeared to be his home. His Instagram page was taken down after his "state-sanctioned killing".
