Kurdish trader from Baneh shot directly and without protocol by Iranian military forces at the border areas. He was targeted in the head from close range by border guards stationed at the Choman border of Baneh without prior warning. At the time of targeting, he had no goods with him. He was married and father of two children from Saleh village in Baneh county, forced to work in border areas due to lack of stable employment opportunities in Kurdistan. His body was transferred to Salahuddin Ayyubi Hospital in Baneh and government institutions have so far refused to hand over his body to his family.
