Killed by grenade during protests in Qom, his chest and right hand were destroyed. He owned a well-known auto parts shop at Ghaffari intersection in Qom and always placed a large water cooler in front of his shop with the inscription 'In memory of Khodanoor'. The cooler had been confiscated many times and he had been summoned repeatedly.
